GOLD Range<\/span><\/p>\n

IRON FOIL—indicates that the target is probably iron or foil. Some oxidized iron might register<\/span><\/p>\n

somewhere within the SILVER range.<\/span><\/p>\n

5(NICKEL)—indicates that the target is probably 5or a nickel.<\/span><\/p>\n

PULL TAB—indicates that the target is probably a pull tab from an aluminum can. Some rough<\/span><\/p>\n

gold items might register within PULL TAB category.<\/span><\/p>\n

S-CAPS— indicates that the target is probably a type of metal like bottle cap with whorl. Some<\/span><\/p>\n

small gold items might register within this category.<\/span><\/p>\n

1—indicates that the target might be a zinc penny or a copper coin. Some large gold items<\/span><\/p>\n

might register within 1category.<\/span><\/p>\n

SILVER Range<\/span><\/p>\n

125-indicates that the target is probably 25 or 1. Some large aluminum coin might<\/span><\/p>\n

register within 125category.<\/span><\/p>\n

TONES<\/span><\/p>\n

If the detector is set to the ALL METAL target mode, it sounds a single tone when it detects<\/span><\/p>\n

any type of metal. If you set the detector to the DISC or NORTCH modes, the built in audio<\/span><\/p>\n

identification system sounds a unique audio tone for each of three categories of metal. This<\/span><\/p>\n

makes it easier to identify the metal being detected.<\/span><\/p>\n

The detector sounds a low tone when it detects small gold, nail, bottle cap or nickels.<\/span><\/p>\n

A medium tone for aluminum pull tabs, zinc or copper items. A high tone is for brass or silver<\/span><\/p>\n
